More than 65 restaurants, caterers and food vendors are participating, with nearly 110 arts & crafts vendors and information booths, three stage areas for live music and the “Church Street Café,” where patrons can sit and relax with a pint of refreshing brew.
Festival grounds include Gay street from Matlack Street to Darlington Street – Market Street from Darlington to High St
The Old Fiddlers Picnic is an annual event where hundreds of musicians and music lovers gather to celebrate traditional music and memories on stage and in the woodlands of Fiddlers Field.
Lots of activities for the kids, tours of Hibernia Mansion, plus food and craft vendors!
The following are all currently scheduled to be part of this great community event: Local artists and crafters selling their handmade wares, musical entertainment for all ages, food vendors will join us and provide a wide variety of food to tend to your taste buds throughout the event, free games and activities will be available for the children such as face painting and balloon characters/animals, and a Home Run Derby
A phenomenal fireworks display will conclude the fun-filled day. As always, free glow-in-the-dark necklaces will be given to all children in attendance.
Our third annual Summer Jam Series event will take place on the final Friday of June, July and August of 2017.
Last year, we moved the event to Kerr Park to celebrate our borough’s green spaces and allow for a more comfortable, family-friendly gathering. Each of the three events featured several talented local musicians and hundreds of families from the surrounding area. With the addition of food trucks, a beer garden and many local crafters, we saw a tremendous turnout. As part of our mission to create a stronger sense of community in our Good Neighbor town, we are proud to bring this live music event to Downingtown this summer! We hope you’ll join us by considering becoming a food or craft vendor at the 2017 Summer Jam Series.

The 10th Annual FlavorFest at Mount Hope takes place on Memorial Day Weekend, May 27 & 28, 2017 and is open from 11:00AM until 5:00PM. Offering free admission, free parking and free wine sampling from over twenty wineries, this festival provides a showcase of Pennsylvania's diverse culinary, wine offerings and the finest in PA artisan crafts and is sure to be a weekend of fun and delicious entertainment for the whole family that signals the beginning of summer. This year's Malvern Blooms Festival has something for everyone. With four different live music attractions including Hillbilly rock 'n roll and Songs for Seeds for the kids, in addition to the streets lined with local artists and crafters (just in time for Mother's Day) and tons of activities for the kids: inflatables, games and prizes, balloon artists, and face painting. Most importantly, of course, is the food!
